‘Beauty and the Beast’ dazzles Hilo audiences
With a talented 60-member cast and three weeks of sold-out performances, the Disney musical “Beauty and the Beast” was just what Hilo’s Palace Theatre needed for a comeback after being closed for 16 months. The show also served as the inaugural production of the Palace’s newly created Youth Theatre Program.

‘Biloxi Blues’ on stage at East Hawaii Cultural Center
Biloxi Blues, the hilarious and heart-warming play by Neil Simon that deals with six army recruits as they come of age during the last days of World War II, will open on Friday, Jan. 24, and run for three performances at the East Hawaii Cultural Center.
